The Estonian Furniture Industry Association is implementing two projects with the support of the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency (EIS), aimed at strengthening the association’s development capacity and supporting the international competitiveness of Estonian furniture industry companies.
Project “Development Advisor at the Estonian Furniture Industry Association”
Project overview:
By engaging a development advisor, the Estonian Furniture Industry Association supports the growth of research and development activities and innovation capacity of its member companies, in line with the objectives of the TAIE Development Plan 2021–2035.
Project activities are aimed at increasing awareness of RDI (research, development and innovation) within the association and its members, preparing development initiatives, and strengthening cooperation between companies, research institutions, and other partners.
The Estonian Furniture Industry Association is a partner in the programme of the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency (EIS) in the implementation of the project “Increasing entrepreneurs’ awareness of RDI and strengthening RDI capabilities” raames.

Total project cost: 102,000 euros, of which
the grant amounts to 51,000 euros (50%)
co-financing: 51,000 euros (50%)
Project “Promoting the internationalisation of EMTL members”
Project overview:
The project is aimed at supporting the internationalisation and export capacity development of members of the Estonian Furniture Industry Association, as well as increasing the international visibility of the sector.
Project activities include mapping and analysing target markets, developing joint value propositions and marketing materials, participating in international trade fairs and events, and engaging international expertise.
The project is implemented with the support of the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency (EIS) under the measure “Promoting the internationalisation of industry associations.” raames.
